Metwood has been using Allied Tubing and Conduit products for several years. Allied has several product lines and Metwood has been keeping an eye on their DynaTruss System. It recently became a practical move to add DynaTruss to the Metwood product line and become a DynaTruss certified fabricator. The Allied name is familiar in the building industry and DynaTruss is gaining in popularity and well positioned to become the product of choice among contractors.
DynaTruss is an exceptional product with cord members that are similar in size and shape to a 2” x 4”, and just as easy to work with. The modular concept behind the DynaTruss engineering makes Truss fabrication extremely efficient. The members themselves are stronger than typical Truss components even though the profiles are more compact. This user friendly approach sacrifices nothing in strength and versatility and gives customers the confidence to try it out the first time and to experiment with the possibilities just as they might with wood.
Pat Wallace, head of DynaTruss sales for the Eastern United States says, “Metwood has an exceptional product line, and we believe DynaTruss is the perfect addition. We’re happy to have Metwood as certified fabricators and are looking forward to continuing the great relationship we‘ve had for many years”.
“We’ve just finished our strongest quarter ever in Truss sales. We know this is partially due to the addition of the DynaTruss product”, says Metwood VP, Shawn Callahan. “Our new Laser Truss System has helped a great deal also. We can now produce better Trusses, with quicker turnover and lower lead times than ever before. We expect that our market penetration will improve even more with time”.
