Metwood Square Steel Columns offer many advantages over typical Round Columns, and at comparable prices. Metwood Square Columns feature strength and flexibility not found in most column products on the market.
- Metwood Columns are designed with a Top Plate that is Tabbed for flexibility at the job site. This allows for immediate use of the column without the need for "temporaries".
- Easily trimmed to the proper length with a reciprocating saw, hacksaw, or saw with abrasive blade.
- Metwood Square Columns are easier to plumb and easier to attach treatments such as wood, masonry, vinyl, dryvit, and more.
- 3" Square Columns may be placed inside a 2 x 4 framed wall as a support column or wall stiffener.
- Metwood Square Columns are lighter gauge than typical round columns, but actually have higher load capacities.
- Metwood Columns are galvanized with an in-line Flo-Coat process, which gives a triple layer of corrosion protection. This makes Metwood Square Columns an excellent choice for exterior applications.
- Metwood Square Columns are available in lengths of 8', 9' and 10' along with custom lengths and end plates.
